I'm working as a GIS Consultant @ RealDolmen. Recent projects include implementing web and mobile gis systems and their backaneds, mostly based on open source components.
I hold a PhD in geology from Ghent University where I've developed techniques for mapping soils and water table dynamics.
In my little free time left I'm a contributor to SAGA GIS, Debian and Ubuntu GIS and the OSGEO live dvd (ohloh). I blog infrequently at http://blog.gisky.be
