2011 Milestones

This initial list largely based on FOSS4G 2010 list (with conference date changed from Sep 6-10 to Sep 12-16)

We should possibly add some earlier items, maybe including the following:

• LOC membership confirmed, roles and sub-committees defined
• Detailed plan developed
• Sponsorship brochure completed
• Initial outreach to potential sponsors

• 22 Feb 2011, Registration for workshop and tutorials opens
• 15 Apr 2011, Abstract submission deadline
• 20 May 2011, Presenters notified of acceptance for talks
• 15 Jun 2011, Author/Early registration deadline
• 31 Jul 2011, Full Paper (Academic Track) submission deadline
