Introduction

There is an opportunity to host an open source GIS track at the Annual California Land Surveyors Conference. The conference is typically held at the end of March or April in Reno, Nevada.

The CLSA Committee that organizes the conference has asked for a preliminary track schedule before making a final decision on placing the open source GIS track into the conference program. Details on that preliminary track schedule are on this wiki page.

A half day track would need 3 hours of talks/workshops. A full day track would need 6 hours. The preliminary track schedule below is organized into three main sessions: GIS Concepts, GIS Software, and GIS Programming.

If you are interested in giving a talk or workshop as part of the track, please contact Landon Blake (sunburned.surveyor@gmail.com).
