Multi-resolution seamless imagery aggregator
This is a page to discuss the formation of an aggregator of various WMS services to create a single, cacheing server to access the best available imagery (what determines "best" is negotiable -- think what happened to Google in New Orleans) for any given area of the world at different resolutions.
Perhaps it would make sense to allow for different profiles with some degree of tolerance for:
- preference given to timely data
- preference given to resolution
- preference given to color
