Born in Montignies su Sambre (Southern Belgium) on 25 June 1985, now lives near Varese (Northern Italy).

- Undergraduate thesis in Analysis and Management of Natural Resources: "Space use of red squirrel Sciurus vulgaris: comparison among softwares for home range estimation", October 2007
- Graduate student at Insubria University, Varese (Italy) in Analysis and Management of Natural Resources.

- Google Summer of Code 2009 with v.autokrige: Python porting and wxPython GUI addition
