I'm an software engineer, programmer, and RS/GIS specialist based in the Philippines. I've regularly used FOSS and FOSS4G for the better half of the decade. As an advocate of FOSS, I would like to leverage and spread it's use (specially FOSS4G) in the academe, research, and local governments. I have experience in using and teaching QGIS, GRASS, and geospatial programming using Python. I'm part of the group that organizes the local FOSS4G-Philippines Conference over the past years.
