In the moment I am a student of Geography(major), Computer Science(1st minor) and Cartography(2nd minor) at the Universities of Cologne and Bonn.

I am (hopefully) in my last year as student working at the GIS & RS Workingroup of the Institute of Geograpy at the University of Cologne as student staff.

  • Student research assisant at GIS & RS Workingroup at Institute of Geography of the University of Cologne.

I am about to start my Diploma Thesis on 3D-GIS Webmapping Technologies.

I plan to do a Ph.D. after my Diploma in the RS & GIS/Computergraphics Field.

Interests

My favorite (work/research) Topics are:

  • Computergraphics
  • 3D (Web)GIS Technology

Motivation

I prefer working with opensource software because I support the Ideas behind FOSS and especialy OSGeo.

And I am on an "subversive" mission to establish Opensource Software at the GIS & RS Workingroup in research and education. ;)
