Short Bio:


Dr. Gregory Giuliani. Lecturer at the University of Geneva, Institute for Environmental Sciences/enviroSPACE lab. & Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) Coordinator at UNEP/GRID-Geneva. He was Manager of EU/FP7 EOPOWER project (http://www.eopower.eu), Work package leader in the EU/FP7 enviroGRIDS (http://www.envirogrids.net) and AFROMAISON projects (http://www.afromaison.net) where he coordinated SDI development and implementation. He also participated in the EU/FP7 ACQWA project (http://www.acqwa.ch), and is GRID-Geneva lead developer of the PREVIEW global risk data platform (http://preview.grid.unep.ch). He coordinates and develops capacity building material on SDI for enviroGRIDS and has active participation/contribution to various Global Earth Observation System of Systems (GEOSS) activities. Coordinator of the Task ID-02 "Developing Institutional and Individual Capacity" for GEO/GEOSS.
