I am a Senior IT Support and Development Officer for Oxford Archaeology: one of the largest commercial archaeological practices in Europe. I am also employed as a consultant for OADigital, our geospatial consultancy company. I am currently (2009) the official representative of the UK local chapter of OSGeo, and am available for seminars and presentations about OSGeo or about open source GIS, with a focus on its use in the UK.
  
I work for Oxford Archaeology as the Information Systems Coordinator at the Northern Office in Lancaster. My main interest in GIS is widening access to data for people without requiring them to use expensive softwarre or go on a course just to look at their map. I am also keen to improve public access to geodata, particularly in the UK.
