Get a doctor degree from the Graduate school of Natural Science and Technology, Okayama University in 1993 (Doctor of Science). Work on the Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science, Okayama University as an assistant professor.
Specialities
Geostatistics. Especially, the estimation of the spatial distribution of the environmental materials by the Kriging method. The kriging method is performed by the combination of the QGIS, gdal and gstat/cmd or gstat/R. The data link of those applications by the geospatial file formats are also the object of the research.
OSGeo field
Mainly uses the GDAL, PROJ.4 and QGIS.
