Dr. Markus Lupp
I work as a consultant for lat/lon, a consulting and software development company that focusses on Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI) and Open Source GIS. I am one of the founders and a member of the Project Steering Committee of the deegree project. Also, I am the current editor of OGC's Styled Layer Descriptor (SLD) and Symbology Encoding (SE) standards.
Regarding OSGeo, I am the editor for the Topical Studies section of the OSGeo journal.
I changed my name due to marital reasons a while ago, my former name was Markus Müller.
I am familiar with a number of Open Source GIS programmes:

- OpenJUMP
- PostGIS
- UMN MapServer
I moved to Indonesia a while ago and now live on West-Timor.
