-I work as a consultant for lat/lon (http://www.lat-lon.de), a consulting and software company that focusses on Spatial Data Infrastructues (SDI) and Open Source GIS. I am one of the founders of the deegree project (http://www.deegree.org) and the current editor of OGC's Styled Layer Descriptor and Symbology Encoding standards.
