I work as a consultant for lat/lon (http://www.lat-lon.de), a consulting and software company that focusses on Spatial Data Infrastructues (SDI) and Open Source GIS. I am one of the founders of the deegree project (http://www.deegree.org).
My personal interests are application of GIS to
- Disaster management
- Urban planning and
- Natural resouce management
Besides I am keen on travelling to/in South-east Asia - I will move to Indonesia this December. :-)
