Dr. Pawel Netzel is a mathematician, climatologist, and programmer. Pawel promotes and develops Open Source Software for GIS. He is one of the founding members of the OSGeo chapter Poland. He leads GRASS workshops as a member of Wrocław GRASS User Group; these workshops are a long-standing tradition and have been held for the last 15 years. Pawel's interests include spatial analyses, especially with applications of AI and adaptative systems, geographical web services, and tele-detection methods of ABL (atmospheric boundary layer).
