He now mentors startups and advises businesses in the location space while focussing his spare time on Open Data and Open Source projects including the OSM-GB project at the Nottingham Geospatial Institute and Taarifa.
He is currently an External Lecturer at Nottingham University, a strategic advisor to Astun Technology, chairman of geo.me Solutions and Exprodat Consulting and was the Chair of the LOC for FOSS4G 2013.
