I am a geospatial data scientist and engineer who works with optical and microwave remote sensing imagery, vector based data, and VGI from social media and OpenStreetMap. In the past eight years I have worked for international organizations of the UN family, for universities, and as a consultant. I hold a Dr.-Eng. degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University (China) and a Masters and Bachelor degree in Geography/Geomatics from Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany).
