Physical Scientist for US Army Corps of Engineers
I'm a research scientist at the Remote Sensing GIS Center and I specialize in Open Source GIS advocacy, Open Source development, and integration with Oracle database backends (spatial). I'm currently on the project steering committee for the MapServer project and have contributed to the MapServer code base (for oracle spatial support) and the GDAL code base (also for oracle spatial support). I'm also heavily involved in the open source project PDAL, which functions similar to the GDAL library but for N dimensional point cloud data.
