OSGeo BoF at FOSS4G Europe status - OSGeo meeting plans

• Plenary on wednesday (15 minutes)
• We hope to discuss OSGeo EU ideas
• No specific plan for a F2F, we can plan an online meeting

“How to Sponsor” text done, draft page on website

• The text has been reviewed. It has been published.
• ACTION: Review the process to get notifications for expiring sponsors
• Discussion about offering FOSS4G sponsorship status through direct OSGeo sponsorship. (Jeroen will start a draft proposal)
• Idea about offering an even higher sponsorship level, targeting big organizations

EC funding for FOSS4G Europe 2024

• Need for a European OSGeo Chapter.
• Current sponsorship from EU organizations needs to go through a EU entity (currently EU local chapters).

FOSS4G SotM Oceania TGP Request
