note, info@osgeo.org address is fine.  Currently Andrew Kelly and Auke receive this list which is a serious spam target. You can put anyone reasonable (yourself, me, Auke) as the contact if you like.

It would be nice if we could avoid the "all rights reserved" message.  Is there a Creative Commons license we could use that doesn't allow altering the text, but does allow copying, redistributing, etc?  It just seems that the blanket "all rights reserved" message is counter to the OSGeo open source credo. --[[User:Warmerda|Warmerda]] 03:50, 14 July 2006 (CEST)

mpg, I think we should avoid discussing specific numbers of members since we haven't actually started collecting general memberships. --Warmerda 01:25, 14 July 2006 (CEST)

It would be nice if we could avoid the "all rights reserved" message. Is there a Creative Commons license we could use that doesn't allow altering the text, but does allow copying, redistributing, etc? It just seems that the blanket "all rights reserved" message is counter to the OSGeo open source credo. --Warmerda 03:50, 14 July 2006 (CEST)

Here a CC license for that: Attribution-NoDerivs 2.5, commercial=yes, derivatives=no. "Some rights reserved" Neteler 11:10, 14 July 2006 (CEST)
