I am a GCI 2017 student, working on the Add yourself to the OSGeo Member Map task. Some of my current technology interests are actually unrelated to geospatial analysis, such as blockchain and compbio. In terms of OSGeo interests, I am interested in QGIS and GRASS GIS (I used ArcPy before and want to see how open source alternative fares), and in the past, I used stuff like GDAL for a project. Other than that, the open source geospatial community is quite friendly and I am glad I got introduced to OSGeo. | I am a GCI 2017 student, working on the Add yourself to the OSGeo Member Map task. OSGeo Experience and Roles:
I am a GCI 2017 student, working on the Add yourself to the OSGeo Member Map task. Some of my current technology interests are actually unrelated to geospatial analysis, such as blockchain and compbio. In terms of OSGeo interests, I am interested in QGIS and GRASS GIS (I used ArcPy before and want to see how open source alternative fares), and in the past, I used stuff like GDAL for a project. Other than that, the open source geospatial community is quite friendly and I am glad I got introduced to OSGeo.
