California/Geodata Access Award

Introduction

At the first annual meeting of the California Chapter in February 2009 chapter members decided to create an annual award that would be granted by the chapter. Recipients of the award would be organizations within California that were worthy of recognition for their efforts to promote free and open access to California Geodata.

Award Design

We are currently in the process of designing the award. Suggestions on the design can be sent to the chapter mailing list.

2009 Geodata Access Award

We would like to have the final layout and form of the geodata award completed by the end of March 2009. We would like to present the first award at the end of April 2009.
