Systems Administration Committee

Key Accomplishments

  • Hosting new OSGeo website
  • Purchase new hardware to replace existing
  • Enabled SSL certificates for several project sites (GDAL, MapServer, GRASS, lists.osgeo.org. etc.)
  • Hosting FOSS4G2018 main website on OSGeo infrastructure
  • GeoForAll domains migrated to OSGeo control
  • Funtoo donation of containers
  • New members
  • Established procedure of weekly/bi-weekly meetings

Ongoing Tasks

  • Containerization
  • Wiki & LDAP identification merge
  • Configuring Nextcloud (as dropbox replacement)

Community Involvement

  • Setup new twitter account to share service updates with community (@OSGeo_SysAdmin)
