David has more than 15 years of professional GIS experience, focusing on enterprise architecture, server/web application development, data management, and program management. He received his degree in Geography from UC Santa Barbara. After being a student assistant at the last Esri conference in Palm Springs, he then joined them and began a career in GIS. From there, he joined Booz Allen Hamilton and consulted for 7 years with the US Army Corps of Engineers. First, as the GIS Coordinator for the Los Angeles District. Wearing two hats as a manager and server-geek ... desinging, building, implementing an Enterprise GIS system for 800 employees, and leading a team of six analysts. And later as a developer/GIS specialist supporting CorpsMap, a web-based map tool utilized by all USACE districts across the US.
