- OSGeo is happy to announce the call for hosting the FOSS4G 2017 event. The 2017 FOSS4G RFP is available now at:
http://svn.osgeo.org/osgeo/foss4g/rfp/2017/osgeo-conference-2017-request-for-proposal.pdf
- And the RFP process is summarily described on the wiki: http://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G_2017_Bid_Process
- Links to letters of intent, proposals, and supplementary information will be added to the wiki page as the process goes on.
Highlights:
- 2017 is a North America year.
- Like previous years, using a two-stage bidding process, with letters-of-intent, followed by full proposals for selected bidders.
- Letters of intent due July 15.
