-A couple of modules have already encountered issues, mostly those working with closed source systems, or dependencies on closed source jars.
-The GeoTools team has also set there own goal to "fix the docs" into a consistent state before "graduating" from this process. Expressed more clearly the library should be in a state that you coudl "write a book" on it.
