The Open Source Geospatial Lab (OSGL) is an idea for developing an international network of academic/research institutions committed to promoting open source geospatial concepts. Building on the Academic Network model, each OSGL will be different but have common core features relating to OSGeo:
- Provide opportunities for research projects
- Help connect students with local or international researchers in the field
