Besides General Presentations, FOSS4G conference plans to contain five tracks include Web based GIS, Desktop GIS, Hands on Labs, GIS Library and Best Practice of FOSS GIS.

Workshop activities, BOF group and unconference session will also be provided during the FOSS4G conference. About 10 workshop and user group activities will be organized. Detailed content will be confirmed under discussion of OSGeo China.

The place for visit will include Institute of Geography and Nature Resource Research, Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, National Remote Sensing Center of China, National Geomatics Center of China, Beijing Normal University etc.
