Fairly new to OS GIS but with my background in GIS, remote sensing and environmental sciences (geography, tourism, forestry, bioenergy) I find it fascinating and want to try using the open source applications and data in practice for my work.

Currently working on a project BEn "Biomass Energy Register" [1], which uses OS GIS technology and data to produce biomass potential maps and signposting tool for bioenergy projects in 4 European regions.
