Call for Papers

The call for papers has been sent out via the OSGeo.be mailing list. For the moment, we only have 6 proposals. So, it is really time to spread the call for papers as widely as we can. We will also change the submission deadline and extend it to July 24th. Many actions are required :

Action: Maëlle : contact her boss in order to reach Geotamtam and GeoRezo
Action: Maëlle : publish call for papers on the french mailing list
Action: Tommy : publish call for papers on Facebook
Action: Oliver : publish call for papers on Twitter
Action: all : recontact last year submitters
Action: Johan : contact FOSS4G Bonn submitters
Action: all : contact a representative from each region to see if they would be interested by a keynote presentation
Action: Johan : contact SoTM team to see if they would be interested by a keynote presentation

Call for Sponsors

Marc already contacted some potential sponsors. The list (together with the current status) is available here However, we still need to publish the call for Sponsors on the mailing list and everywhere else.

Website

The website urgently needs to be updated.

Action: Marc : add buttons to the home page in website
Action: Gaël, Johan, Marc, Tommy : adapt call for papers deadline in website

Organisation

We will organise our work with Trello. Oliver will prepare something. To ease the communication in the team, members should try to be available via Skype on Thursdays evening. Oliver and Johan will check the info@foss4g.be mail account. Karine Jean is interested to help us with the organization of the FOSS4G Belgium.
