Adrian Custer

First contributions to the OSGeo community in 2006 through work on the Copyright Assignment document needed to bring the Geotools project into the OSGeo foundation.

Geospatial Standards

Active at the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) technical committee, working on ISO and OGC geospatial standards. Lead editor on the GeoAPI project, defining a coherent set of interfaces coherent with the ISO/OGC model.

Free GIS Software

Joined the FreeGIS community in the early days of that project. Originated the gnuGIS meta-project aiming to build a core platform for the creation, examination and use of rigourous tools for spatial analysis ranging. Contributed briefly to FMaps, then joined Geotools for several years before following the Geotoolkit fork.

Maintained the manual for the Gnumeric spreadsheet.

Currently works on the GeoAPI, Geotoolkit, Constellation-SDI, and MapFaces free software projects.
