I have worked in the field of geographical information science for almost two decades and currently research and teach within GIS at Queen's University Belfast.

My interests lie in advanced spatial data analytics through development of open source methods. I work actively in python for clustering and modelling movements.

I am an active council member for the Association for Geographical Information NI.

I have been fortunate to attend and participate at FOSS4G-NA in San Francisco 2015, FOSS4G in Bonn 2016 along with an OSGeo award for best student poster, and presentation at OSGeo Ireland Symposium in Limerick 2017.
