Now a Programme Officer with English Heritage, playing my art in bringing their archives at the National Monuments Record to the masses via the Net.

I discovered open source while looking for a bankrupt-student-friendly solution to learning GIS. I'm currently working on a website on the archaeology of Liverpool, sort of my tuppence worth to help celebrate its 800 year anniversary. It's built exclusively using free software, e.g. MapServer, BlueFish, QGIS. See[1]
