Cyber Resilience Act

• Osgeo could/should be a steward in this context, providing support to open source companies related to legal audits that should be done in the context of the CRA.
• Mike suggests we could have an email slug / footer to point readers to a CRA readiness page. Suggested this could point to a topic on discourse.
• 7 September 2026 the law kicks in so we should make any preparations before then.
• We need to provide feedback on the proposed CRA rules the European Commission are implementing.
• There are big fines that will be leveraged against companies that are not in alignment.
• Jeroen notes that it should be within the remit of the OSGEO to help member projects and affiliated companies in an advisory capacity.
• Codrina has offered to start putting together an OSGEO CRA readiness page which will also link to the German CRA discussion and the Eclipse foundation-led initiative.

• Tim proposes to focus first on the formulation of a broad communication strategy (see below or OSGEO Inject), then the overhaul of our website, then plan to deploy a platform similar to the QGIS sustaining member platform.

Ambassador Programme Wrap-Up

• After the contract is reviewed, we can create motions to approve the ambassadors.

FOSS4G OSGeo Japan Conference

• Organisers want to do some celebration of 20 years
