Personal Description :	Tõnis has been active in the geo field for approximately 15 years but a relative newcomer to the world of osgeo. He has a background in environmental technology specializing in remote sensing but his professional endeavours have led him to pursue goals in the field of geoinformatics instead. Crunching data has been his love for years. He is currently employing himself as a freelance GIS/IT consultant. He has previously worked as a GIS specialist at the Estonian Ministry of Environment IT Center (KEMIT) where he focused on open data and open source GIS solutions in governmental institutions, consulted IT projects that have geo/data/map/services requirements in the Ministry's area of responsibility.
