I have been involved in GIS for many years at both a personal and professional level. I left the finance industry to pursue a career in developing location based services with a particular slant towards open data and open source. I am a Chartered Information Systems practitioner via the British Computer Society and have been a member since its early inception. I'm a long standing committee member of OSGeoUK and am active in organising and presenting open source GIS events in the UK.

OSGeo Experience and Roles:

OSGeo User.png  OSGeo Committee.png   I have been involved in GIS for many years at both a personal and professional level.

I apply my GIS skills at work and also as an author of a best selling cycling route guide, Great British Bike Rides. The book contains mapping and statistics created by software I've written and data I have curated.
