Introduction

Every year the California OSGeo Chapter is required to have an annual meeting. We are still working to determine details of our 2015 Annual Meeting, but it is scheduled for January 23, 2016 at UC Davis.

We need volunteers for:

  • Speakers
  • Activity Coordinators
  • Sponsorship for refreshments (perhaps lunch?)

Speakers

  • 10:00AM to 10:30AM =
  • 10:30AM to 11:00AM =
  • 11:00AM to 11:30AM =
  • 11:30AM to 12:00PM =

Assign to a timeslot as needed:

  • Michele Tobias - Literature Mapper: QGIS + Zotero using Python
  • Landon Blake - Scanning Mission San Miguel - terrestrial laser scanning
  • Lightning Talks: Alex Mandel - Geopackage Format, Ragi Burhum (tentative) - leveraging Docker for reducing dependency pain
  • Discussion of conference attendance - CalGIS, FOSS4GNA, etc. - perhaps over lunch?
  • Discussion of open source tools - what do you use? what works the best?
