This page is to help collect examples and pointers to various types of mapping application configuration files. These are any text files created or used by mapping software to build maps - including layout, styling, classification, rendering and more. The hope being that at some point in the future an OSGeo Cartographic Library may be able to read, write, interchange or print from some common platform. Add your project, notes and a pointer or two to the list below.

All projects (FOSS or not) are welcome to be listed here to encourage interchange.

Also please create a separate wiki page including an example of a configuration file, if in text format. Use the project name in the page name like this: Configuration Files Mapnik
