I've been working with spatial information for nearly thirty years.
I have a broad background covering GIS, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Cartography, Surveying, Management and a wide variety of IT roles.
I've used open source software for over seven years and am an advocate for its use within corporate environments (and just about everywhere else for that matter).
I'm involved with establishing the OSGeo-AustNZ Chapter and I'm a member of the FOSS4G-2009 Local Committee.
I'm currently an IT Solutions Architect with the Bureau of Meteorology in Victoria, Australia.
